O the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of Thy love
Leading onward, leading homeward to
Thy glorious rest above!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, spread His praise from shore to shore!
How He loveth, ever loveth, changeth never, nevermore!
How He watches o’er His loved ones, died to call them all His own;
How for them He intercedeth, watcheth o’er them from the throne!

O the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best!
’Tis an ocean full of blessing, ’tis a haven giving rest!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, ’tis a heaven of heavens to me;
And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Thee!

Berrit is here!

DSCF2762

Introducing Berrit Cole, born April 17 at 9:34 p.m. 6 lbs 14 oz 20 inches long

He's now 4 days old laying somewhat contently next to daddy in bed so I think I have a minute to post.  I could never express all these feelings that are happening right now.  All I can do is give all the praise and glory to Christ for allowing  us to have such a beautifully healthy son.

He's not so content anymore.  This motherhood job thing is continuous, but full of so much joy.

I think I may have learned more in the last few days than I have my entire life.

"God With Us"
Mercy Me

Who are we that You would be mindful of us
What do You see that's worth looking our way
We are free in ways that we never should be
Sweet release from the grip of these chains

Like hinges straining from the weight
My heart no longer can keep from singing

[chorus]
All that is within me cries
For You alone be glorified
Emmanuel, God with us
My heart sings a brand new song
The debt is paid these chains are gone
Emmanuel, God with us

Lord You know our hearts don't deserve Your glory
Still You show a love we cannot afford

Like hinges straining from the weight
My heart no longer can keep from singing

Such a tiny offering compared to Calvary
Nevertheless we lay it at your feet

My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, Amazing grace
